COVID-19 Policy
Rittenhouse Sound wants to maintain an enjoyable music-making experience for everyone.
To respect and support our singing community, Rittenhouse Sound strongly recommends that all singers and guests:
Maintain up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations, as per CDC and local health department guidelines.
Self-isolate from in-person rehearsals and gatherings if you have been recently exposed to COVID-19 or are experiencing cold and flu symptoms or an elevated temperature.
If you have tested positive for COVID-19, stay home until the CDC recommended period of recovery and a negative COVID-19 test.
To further encourage responsible singing, Rittenhouse Sound will:
Require members to sign a waiver acknowledging personal responsibility for safe singing and acceptance of risk associated with choral activity.
Welcome anyone to further protect themselves by wearing an effective mask during rehearsals and post-rehearsal socializing. N-95 masks will be available.
COVID-19 policies and practices are subject to change. Rittenhouse Sound will monitor community case levels, CDC and other official guidance, and best-practices for choruses.
